The snow is knee deep and snow squall warnings are The snow is knee deep and snow squall warnings are in effect with up to 25 centimeters on the way and blustery northeast winds expected. So I hopped out of bed and went for a walk around the farm, soaking up the peaceful serenity and the early morning sun shining down on me.

Now I'm curled up on my plush velvety purple chaise longue drinking my latte fireside.

Life is good.

Confession: Winter is growing on me. I've often Confession: Winter is growing on me.

I've often missed the subtle change of seasons in Morocco so this year I'm embracing it all!

With proper winter gear to keep me warm and dry, I am loving the @g2grailtrail trails for afternoon winter walks. Evenings by the fireplace with a good book. And lingering a little longer on chilly mornings with my @coastalcoffeeco lattes.

Oh and the local takeaways of pure wintry comfort food. Top picks include @weststreetwillys @benmillerinn @goderich_harbour_restaurant and this week I'm looking forward to trying @part2bistro. I call it research for some food experiences I'm developing and travel articles I'm writing ❤
