With technology it’s amazing the people you can meet.  With similar interests.

She too came to Morocco and wanted to return and make a difference.

Inspired by the fact that there is a home for abandoned babies and “the babies spend quite a bit of time in their cribs and it would be nice if they had some mobiles to look at,” she writes on her blog, Maroc Mama, she wanted to do something.

So she’s launched  Mobiles for Morocco from the United States to collect either monetary donations or mobiles that she will then deliver to orphanages here in September.

Having volunteered in an orphanage in Marrakech, I can certainly support her initiative.
