Just back from: Ourika Valley

It was one of those weekends where I worked all week so I could kick back and relax all weekend. One of those weekends where I didn’t want to have any plans once I reached my destination. One of those weekends where I wanted to escape the daily grind, but not have to travel too far to change the atmosphere.

And it was just what I needed.

A weekend with limited Internet access and only a few checks of the telephone. A weekend to clear my mind and think about where business may go next. A weekend spent discussing and developing ideas.

Because in our fast-paced lives, I think it’s important to take a weekend to relax. To escape the daily routine, emails, social media and other distractions. To provide the mind a chance to unwind and let new ideas enter.

And this was just the place!

Where do you escape when you need time to unwind and let go?

  1. Hi there,

Loving your blog – really fantastic insight. My partner and I are heading to Marrakech in November and have heard wonderful things about day trips to Ourika Valley. How do you recommend we do the trip? Stay a night? And if so, where?

    Many thanks!
