It’s one of the sites in Marrakech I normally tell people to give a miss.   Unless of course there is a special event.

And the light installation organized by Alwan’Art and the French Institute at Badii Palace was an event I’m glad I didn’t miss!

An old palace left in ruins, lit up by fire.

And lanterns.

With the most amazing Gnaoua musicians adding to the magical atmosphere.

And letting the imagination run wild, envisioning a spectacular event at the palace in its grandeur.
