Great views from around Morocco

With today’s #FriFoto theme being great views from around the world, I thought I would personalize it up a bit to my “world”, Morocco.  And share some of the great rooftop views from the old cities through Morocco.

First stop, Meknes, a wonderful little town worth exploring for a night.  It’s often overlooked by tourists, making it an ideal stop to explore the architecture and just soak up the atmosphere.  I think it’s quite similar to Marrakech in many ways.

And further up the road, Moulay Idriss, a special little town worth the grand taxi ride.

Not forgetting the ancient and oh so special medina of Fes.

And Tetouan in the north.  A little town surrounded by the Rif Mountains.

With a stop at the special blue medina of Chefchaouen.

And the most breath-taking Nkob in the south of Morocco.

But of course, Marrakech, my favourite view of all.
