It was the perfect art gallery. One where we could roam freely, admiring the ruins and interacting with the installations.
The venue? An open-air ruined palace in the old Marrakech medina where the installations blended in to the surrounding, known as Badii Palace.
The reason? The fifth edition of the Marrakech Biennale which kicked off today and lasts until 31 March, 2014.
If the kick off is anything to go by, it’s going to be an exciting weekend of art openings and shows. Vernissages and parties. And just good fun in Marrakech!
