Choosing the right attitude

She’d been excited about her Moroccan vacation for weeks.  Planning to visit new places.  And revisit old favourites.

But when an incident happened just three hours in, her spirits were saddened.  She was left feeling scared. Sad. Frustrated that she’d lost all her identification and mobile phone.   Thoughts of “if only” ran through her head.  She was rethinking the vacation.

But we have to choose our attitude.  Because feeling sad, rethinking the situation won’t bring back the stuff.  Things could always be worse.  Plus, a Moroccan adventure was underway.

Tomorrow would be a new day.

So she put it behind her.  And had a great week.  Filled with friends new and old.  Laughter.  Delicious food.

Great finds in the souks (or Ali Baba caves as she prefers to call them!)

And more challenges.  But it didn’t matter.  She was choosing a positive attitude.

Just a little something to keep in mind as Monday blesses us with its presence once again!
