Life in Marrakech, April edition

Wowza where April month gone?

Having spend a week in the Ait Bougmez region (a long-time bucket list destination) on a blogger trip where I enjoyed a slower pace of life, meeting locals and chatting over many, many mint teas, I returned to Marrakech refreshed and reminded why I moved to Morocco.

So I’ve been enjoying life a little bit more. Meeting friends and sipping an extra cup of coffee. Turning off my phone and feeling free if only for a few hours. Taking time to myself to the views.

Yet I’ve still been meeting and pitching clients, writing articles, and continuing to set up a new apartment. You see I decided to move out of the medina in February and in to a more modern three-bedroom apartment in the new city. I just didn’t think it would take this long to set it up. But I’m getting there. Just the dining room, office and finer details remain.

But that will probably have to wait because high season and festival season are kicking off and I’m heading to Canada in six weeks for at least a month.

What’s on your radar these days?
