After years of staying out far too late and dreading the mornings, spending Sundays in bed catching up on much-needed sleep, I have to tell you I’m trying to change.
I enjoy waking up early.
Sipping my coffee in silence, allowing myself to ease in to the day.
An early start to my day usually means I have a better chance of accomplishing my to-do list for the day.
Walking to work as the locals are setting up shop, delivering the goods while the sound of the Koran play out in the tiny alleyways.
But mostly, I enjoy the calm and quiet before the chaos hits.
All this a realization I made during a trip to Chefchaouen, a must visit in Morocco.
Totally agree! I fell in love with the Marrakech Medina during early morning walks.
I’m glad you’re getting into a morning thing. It’s a great quiet time to write. I love your pictures. Why is everything this luscious blue? I want to visit there just to look at this color.
